Our Standard Web Site Packages include everything the average small business needs for an outstanding Web presence. Please be sure to read the description of what is included, as we charge extra for services required beyond our standard packages. Private music teachers may apply for a special 5-page studio website. Non-profit organizations may apply for a 10% discount on my services.  Proof of non-profit status is required before work is started.

Text

You must set up a separate word processor file for each Web page. Indicate which file names correspond to which Web pages. Send us your final version of your text. While we expect to make occasional minor changes here and there after the Web pages are prepared, we charge extra to format and insert brand new text. Most word processors allow you to count the approximate number of words. Web pages which contain more than 1,200 words may be subject to additional charges, especially if they require a good deal of formatting. 

Graphics

The quality appearance of your Web site has a lot to do based on the photos or graphics you choose for your Web pages. Clipart can be used, but tends to make the pages look amateurish. Photos look more professional. 

You may send graphics to us in either digitized form or hard copy photos which we will scan. 
Prepare captions for each photo and indicate the intended location(s). 
If you need us to prepare specialized graphic elements in addition to our custom site graphics package, please explain clearly, and perhaps include a sketch. We charge for such items on an hourly basis. 
You may select stock photos from your pages from Corel, PhotoDisc, or Publisher's Depot photo archives, and give us the photograph number. We will purchase and download the appropriate photo, place it on the Web page indicated, and bill you for the photo cost. If you want us to find and select photos, we charge our hourly rate.

Consultation Up to 2 hours consultation with client concerning Web marketing strategy, site design, general Internet orientation, training, etc. Telephone charges are at the client's expense.
Text

Text is to be supplied by the client on diskette, CD-ROM or email attachment. Text is limited to approximately 1,200 words per web page. Longer web pages may be subject to additional design fees, especially if they require a great deal of formatting. Please note: our services do not include editing your text. Please supply it to us in the final form you want displayed on the Web.

Custom graphics package One graphic image. This can be your supplied company logo  Includes a custom-designed masthead incorporating your existing company logo, top-of-page graphic, text image map bar and background

Our prices include up to an average of 1.5 photos or graphics per web page, client-supplied or client-selected from Corel, PhotoDisc, or Publisher's Depot photo archives. Client pays an additional fee to cover Web license for photos selected from those sites. Placement of more than 1.5 photos per page average is $15 per photo.
Response  Forms

No form  A form with up to 20 fields is an additional $150

One form  With up to 20 fields. Additional fields are $2 each. Additional forms are $60 plus any additional pages needed.  Data from the forms can be returned to you as an email or as a separate webpage.

Please Note: O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design is not a web hosting service. Fees cited above do not include ongoing web hosting fees. We will refer you, however, to business-friendly web hosting services who specialize in web hosting and provide good prices and reliable service. Expect to pay between $20 and $75 monthly, depending upon your site's particular requirements. Set-up fees are typically $50 to $75. Also a domain registration service will bill you about $70 for a domain name registration which is good for two years. Please contact us before selecting a web hosting service or a domain name, if possible, so we can save you some grief.

O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design can set up an account for you with Catalog.com.  Small sites can be hosted there at no charge other than the 2 year domain name fee.

O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design can set up an account for you with ReadyHosting.  We will handle all the set up with them.  The bill for the hosting with ReadyHosting would then be added into the regular web site billing, saving you a small amount of paperwork.    ReadyHosting offers a cgi-bin, if you are interested in a message board, forms or other interactivity.

 

Additional Options

Additional Expenses  Client agrees to reimburse Consultant for any of the following types of expenses necessary in completion of the work: Additional fonts, Messengers, Proofs, Props, Research, Shipping, Software, Stock photography, Travel, Telephone consultation beyond the initial, included consultation.
Mailing List For newsletters and announcements of specials to previous visitors to the site. Free services include Bravenet.net, delphi.com, eGroups.com, OneList.com, Topica.com, and ListBot.com
Data Table

Additional tables of up to 30 cells each, $50 per table.

Message Boards

CGI or PHP style message boards can be set up, providing the client has access to a cgi-bin.  Check out the styles such as Ikonboard or phpBB. Billed at the standard hourly rate.

Alphabet Sticker Contest If you want to use this contest, you may lease the idea for $50 a year, provided it carries a logo and a link to O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design. 

To adapt the idea to your own website using the existing letters and format is $100 a year, and it carries a logo and a link to O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design. 

To adapt the idea to your own website using new letters is $100 a year plus the standard hourly rate to design the new letters.  It will also carry the logo and a link to O'Connor O'Riginals Web Design. 

Pop-Up Menu If you like the pop-up method of site navigation as seen here, this costs $100 for initial setup and placement of up to 20 links. Regular updating fees apply when links are added or removed.  NOTE: This cannot be setup before the domain name is secured.
Tree Menu If you like the file tree method of site navigation as seen here, this costs $100 for initial setup and placement of up to 20 links. Regular updating fees apply when links are added or removed.  NOTE: This cannot be setup before the domain name is secured.
